Kids Sports Camp in July

Join us for the Play-It-All Sports Intro Camp for children ages 3-5 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Kids will be introduced to a variety of sports and learn the basics of each, while also learning basic skills of sportsmanship and character building.

Dates: July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 (Wednesdays in July)

Time: 5:15pm-6:15pm

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. When and where does the Kids Play-It-All Sports Camp take place?

The Kids Play-It-All Sports Camp will take place every Wednesday in July (weather permitting) at Emmanuel, located at 2100 Noble Rd. Raleigh, NC 27608. We will meet on the main lawn. Click here to view the map.

2. What time should little athlete participants arrive?

Little athlete participants should arrive no later than 5:15pm to ensure a prompt start to the camp activities.

 

3. Can parents stay and observe?

Yes, parents are welcome to stay and observe the camp activities. There is also a small playground on campus for younger children if parents need to wait around.

4. What is the pickup time for little athletes?

Camp activities end at 6:15pm. Little athletes should be picked up starting at 6:15pm and no later than 6:30pm. Only authorized pickups are allowed to pickup children.

5. What is the schedule for the evening?

  • 5:15pm: Introduction to basics of sport and skills

  • 5:40pm: Break/snack and devotional

  • 5:50pm: Playing sport

  • 6:15pm: End/pickup
     

6. Who are the coaches at the camp?

Our coaching staff consists of experienced players for each sport as well as additional children's volunteers. We aim to provide a fun environment that introduces kids (3-5 years old) to the joy of multiple sports while also fostering good sportsmanship and character building.

7. Are there any requirements for the participants?

Children should come ready to go in active wear with closed-toed shoes each night. While cleats may be worn, they are not required (no metal studs). All necessary equipment, including balls and goals, will be provided throughout the duration of the camp.

8. What if my child has specific medical or dietary considerations?

If your child has any medical or dietary considerations that the camp should be aware of, please inform us so that we can accommodate their needs. You can reach out to Hunter Hays at Hunter@ebcraleigh.com, and he will be happy to assist you.
